We done found ourselves a fine barn for a hoe down!

Well, y'all better be gettin' excited.  We done found a fine barn for a hoe down in Bristol - more information to come. We just gotta convince 'em that they can cope with a hot-dang, thigh-slappin' HOE DOWN.  To convince 'em good and proper, here's a Molly Hatchet tune:

Well, while y'all are enjoying that fine Southern music, you might be thinkin', "damn, I'm gettin' thirsty."  To help y'all, here's one of two refreshing fancy drinks that we like at the Pop Up Hoe Down Co.

Old Fashioned:

1 rounded tsp vanilla sugar
10-12 drops bitters (we like Angostura Orange Bitters, but you ain't got that, so use what y'all have)
Bourbon whiskey (Woodford Reserve is good, Maker's Mark'll do)
Ice
Slice of orange

Step 1:
Mash the sugar and the bitters together in the glass

Step 2:
Place an ice cube in the glass, and pour in whiskey to the top of the cube

Step 3:
Stir until the ice cube has melted

Step 4:
Fill glass with ice and top up with whiskey

Step 5:
Add slice of orange

Step 6:
Refresh yourself after a hard task well done

And seeing as there's more old drunks than there are old doctors:

What the blazes is the Pop Up Hoe Down Co.?

Well howdy there.  We here simple country folk at the Pop Up Hoe Down Co. believe in many things.

1. We believe that a rootin', tootin' clog-slappin' HOE DOWN is the cure to most of society's problems.
2. We believe that bourbon whiskey is the cure to most of life's ills.
3. We believe that hot wings count as one of your five-a-day.
4. We believe that the only healthy salad is the green stuff in a mint julep.
5. We believe that the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band should be essential listening.

So that y'all can have an understandin' of where we're at, we want y'all to listen to this tune and then read on:

We're gonna fix this little place called England, one HOE DOWN at a time.  We'll show up all uninvited with our fiddles, our grill, our collection of Hank Williams records and one heck of a lot of wings.  We can teach y'all the fine art of southern beverage makin' and wing flippin'.

Heck, I just can't wait to have an old fashioned, washed down with another old fashioned.

We'll be seein' y'all real soon, but until then, here's some real fine dancin'.
